During the first calendar year a new license is issued to practice chiropractic in North Dakota, the chiropractor will be required to attend a New Doctor Seminar put on by the board. If the licensee does not practice in ND immediately, they will have one-year from the start of practice in ND instead of one-year from initial licensure to attend.
All new license holders must attend. This includes chiropractors licensed in other jurisdictions prior to licensure in ND and new graduates.
The seminar will be held twice a year, in Bismarck, ND.
Notices will be provided to those licensees that need to fulfill the attendance requirement. The notices will be emailed approximately 30-days prior to each seminar and will include the details for the seminar, including the confirmed start time and location.
There is no fee to attend the seminar.
In general, the seminar is approximately 2-hours in length and in most occurrences, begins at 6:30 PM.
